Getting a new camera is like getting a new bike > Awesome!
So I recently got a Leica Q2. I’m pretty sure it’s the most expensive point-and-shoot camera in the world, but worth every penny. The quality of the images is exceptional. But the real reason for this purchase was portability. Lugging a huge DSLR camera with a big lens is a lot of work. You don’t always grab it when you go out for just a walk. The Leica’s size means that when I head out the door it heads out the door with me. It goes back to the old adage that the best camera is the one you have with you.
